in THE MAIN WALL
Here in Maine the total square inches (inside the flue liner) msut be equal to the TOTAL area of ALL flues connecting to it.....result: BIG CHIMNIES for multiple units

    Venting multiple oil burners

    I have a formula for sizing multiple gas units to a single chimney. What do we use for sizing multiple oil burners using a single chimney. would it be the same?

    For oil you want to use the max btu input rating not what is is set to fire.
