If both are used only for heat , turn it down to 115 for the summer. That will be high enough to avoid scale on heat-X. But if you are making [sink] hot water leave it at 180,use the mixing valve to control water temp, if this has you asking more questions call your service company to check

I have a steam system/force hot water system. The forced hot water system is a tankless attached to the boiler. Can I turn the aquastat down from the 180 it is set to now? ed0 -

It's a thermaflow. I also have a Bock 40 gallon for hot water. Is that 180 temp what is keeping the water in then indirect hot too? ed0 -
