Checking CI Rads for leaks

I plug one end and install a pressure gage and valve on the other, then pressurize with 10 or so lbs. of air. Close the valve, disconnect the air and see if it holds.

    Checking CI Rads for leaks

    How do you check used CI Rads for leaks? Would you presserize with nitrogen as if you were checking a new gas line or would you use water at the street pressure? Hate to install then on the second floor and later have them leak?
