My home has forced hot water oil heat. The house has 3 zones and three
circulators. My question is / is one circulator better than three? my problem
,if the heat is coming up and you are taking a shower there is no hot water
is there a way to prioritize?

Any info would be helpful

    SR503/with priority

    Try using the Taco switching relay with the priority feature. For your reference I have attached the submittal data information. Taco, Inc.

    no domestic hot water

    In answer to your question, "Yes" you can prioritize the domestic hotwater and it should be.
    What manufacture of controls are on your boiler? Usually we find Honeywell controls as OEM. That being the case, the R8124 triple acting aquastat will have "ZC and ZR" terminals on it. These two terminals should be wired correctly into the R845 relays (or something similar)of the other two circulators.
    Sometimes an installer will wire in an R89 relay and you'll lose priority for domestic hotwater.
    Hopefully it is a simple wiring job. Have a qualified service tech check it.
