furnace cleaning
Is there any way to clean the flue passages of a furnace properly? like an attachment that goes on the soot vac so you can snake it in and around the heat exchanger. I don't do a lot of furnaces but I am thinking of branching out and would love to do it properly.Any good suggestions will
help. Thanks.0 -

Hello BigEd, Just a note there are two diff sizes of hoses i have one of each some times its easyer to get the skinnyer one around instead of the fat one, if you have both you can fit your needs better.0 -
Pellet Stove Brush
Found this at Menards. Has a 2 -1/2 inch diameter brush with a hard nylon ball at the tip to guide it through elbows. Fiberglass rods are flexible enough to go through 90 degree elbows. Haven't used it to clean furnaces, but did use it to brush out the vent and combustion air pipe on my 90 percent gas furnace.0 -
