I want to add a baseboard zone to my basement. I understand how to do it for above the water line. My question is, Do I install it for below the water line the same way as for above the water line?

Condensate zone..
Yes....Robert O'Connor/NJ0 -
The best way is to
have a tankless coil. That becomes a complete zone on its own with the right approach.
Taking it off the condensate below the NOWL will have you eating pumps like mad - but is nonetheless do-able.

I have done this several times with great success. Click on "Heating Q&A" at the left of your screen. Dan has this all figured out for you.

dont even think about doing this, without...
using a high torque 3 peice bronze pump
a water cooled and lubricated pump needs, well, "water", you cant do that with slude, and the bronze body will keep the iron oxide sludge from sticking to it0 -

It may look easy, but to do it right you need some hands-on experience. Mad Dog0
