Freeze Kit

Just wondering if any one has used a freeze kit to change a circulator? Seems to me it would be quicker and easier on a boiler with no circ shutoff valves and large pipes and radiators to bleed.

I have used one
on heat before but never to change a circulator. I am sure that it would work you just have to look in th instructions because each feez has to be a certain distance away from the other asnd from whatever you are working on0 -
Yes
It will work, but consider adding isolation ball valves on either side of the circulator while its frozen to make the next change easier.0 -
Freeeeeze
OH YA Works slick!! Depending on the size of the piping. Gotta make sure you don't have ANY "trickle" at the freeze point or you will be there forever. I agree with Mark on the isolation valves for future. Good Luck!0
