Freeze Kit

Just wondering if any one has used a freeze kit to change a circulator? Seems to me it would be quicker and easier on a boiler with no circ shutoff valves and large pipes and radiators to bleed.

    I have used one

on heat before but never to change a circulator. I am sure that it would work you just have to look in th instructions because each feez has to be a certain distance away from the other asnd from whatever you are working on

    Yes

It will work, but consider adding isolation ball valves on either side of the circulator while its frozen to make the next change easier.

    Freeeeeze

OH YA Works slick!! Depending on the size of the piping. Gotta make sure you don't have ANY "trickle" at the freeze point or you will be there forever. I agree with Mark on the isolation valves for future. Good Luck!
