I am wondering if there are any general rule of thumb(s) for sizing a computer room these days?
Or do you have to do a complete load?

You can get specs on power consumption for all the equipment in the room. Convert watts of power into btu's and that should give you at least an approximate place to start. 1 watt = roughly 3.3 btu's0 -
