The whole floor is coming out because of damage done by the leaking water service which is in the slab as well. The manifold in the picture serves one of two zones.

The other manifold is staying and seems to have held up for the last 50 years; I'm surprised that the iron pipe has lasted so long; must have something to do with the coating.

Green radiant tubing

It's the first time I've ever seen this material; I think it's steel pipe with some kind of a green coating. The house looks to have been built in the 50's. It's not Bundy Weld.

and uncovered, it has a rust coating. As you can see, it's pretty small, like 3/8" od.

I hope for your sake your removing this stuff and not trying to repair it. That looks like a problem just waiting to happen. Good luck Alan.
