Oil Chimney Vent Help.

I am installing a Oil chimney in a new home. They have built a chase up off the roof and we will be installing the chimney (All fuel Metalbestos SSII) inside of it. At the termination, they have built a cover with a large stone. to support this stone, two sides (East & West Sides)of the chase will be solid and the exhaust will only vent from the north & south sides. Does anyone see a problem with this type of installation? I have been unable to find my mechanical code book and was hoping someone would be able to help me. I have a drawing, but my scanner is down right now. This may not be a big deal, but I want to be sure.

Ernie, I would say providing your chimney liner is properly sized for the BTU Load (and I'm sure it is) And the height meets the 3' above any pitch & 10 ft from any obstructions you should be fine.
Hope this helps.
