Radiator-Wall spacing & Paint Type
I am currently refitting large tube cast iron radiators on a hot water system and was curious as to the ideal spacing from wall to radiator? The figure 2 1/2" springs to mind.
Also anyone got a favoutite primer paint product suggestion for them that they use?
cheers

As long as you are not putting enclosures. Norby......
around them, it won't be too critical...an inch or two away from wall is fine......I use Rustoleum Mettalic heat grade spray paint....primes and colors in one shot...stay with either copper color, silver, or bronze....others colors will inhibit the heat too much. good luck Mad Dog

I believe Dan H says 2 1/2 inches
