lead free solder & acid free flux OK?

in THE MAIN WALL
I understand lead free solder has a higher melting point, so required more heat. Are there any reason why it shouldn't be used in hydronic heating?

    If anything,

    lead-free solder should make for stronger joints. No reason why it shouldn't be used for hydronic.

    We use Bridgit lead-free for heating and plumbing becuase lead is extremely toxic and I don't want my guys handling it.

    Lead free solder

    There are different types of lead free solder. 95/5 will melt at a higher temperature, but the newer solders which contain silver actually melt and run (sometimes) like a 50/50 lead containing solder. You need to try different brands/compositions to find the best for your job. I have actually tried several different brands that stated the same composition, and found some worked better than the others.
