Pole barn radiant system
Any opinions on properly insulating underslab of a pole barn
type constructed building, specificaly perimiter insulation?
Building is new construction, R-19 walls, R-38 cielings,
48'x60'x12' with he-pex radiant system. If I used 2" foam
underslab & 1" perimeter foam only the thickness of the slab
( 6" ) instead of possibly going 2' deep with the perimeter
insul, do you think I would have a much greater outward loss? In other words, do you think I would have a beauty of
a flower garden around the structure in mid january in the
northeast????????????? Thanks AL0
