Open Truss Insulation

Has anyone come up with any insulation ideas for staple-up jobs without plates when using open floor trusses about 14" deep? Thanks for input.

Anytime you are insulating for a joist bay install be it suspended, plates or(yeeeeech)staple up you want your insulation R factor to be higher than what the subfloor(or floors)and finished floor is.

    PS............

that R factor should be two times the rfactor of the panel you are heating. Also take great care in insulating the rim joist's or box beam to stop infiltration.

  • My concern is keeping the air space tight. Looking for a better way of insulating the space without having too large an air space.
