Has anyone come up with any insulation ideas for staple-up jobs without plates when using open floor trusses about 14" deep? Thanks for input.

Anytime you are insulating for a joist bay install be it suspended, plates or(yeeeeech)staple up you want your insulation R factor to be higher than what the subfloor(or floors)and finished floor is.

PS............
that R factor should be two times the rfactor of the panel you are heating. Also take great care in insulating the rim joist's or box beam to stop infiltration.

My concern is keeping the air space tight. Looking for a better way of insulating the space without having too large an air space.0
