Help Setting Aquastat

Options

I recently moved into my first house and need a little help with the settings on my oil burner. I have a Peerless wbv-03, riello burner and aquastat 3250 controlling two zones. I have a separate propane hot water heater, so the boiler is exclusively used for heating via copper fin baseboards. Currently, the low temperature limit is set to off, the high temperature limit is set to 180, and the economy setting is at 2. My main concern is I'm getting mixed responses on what the low setting should be. When I called hydrolevel they said the settings were good since I don't use my boiler for domestic hot water. However, when I look around some people say it should be around 140 to prevent corrosion in the boiler. I did make sure that the circulator hold off feature was turned on, which is suppose to help prevent issues at low temps. What should I do for the low temp limit? I live on central long island if that help. Thank you in advance!

Hydro level is correct you don't need the low limit. When the boiler starts from a completely cold start the return temp should get to 135ish withing 20 min or so to prevent condensation. If you have baseboard it shouldn't be an issue. If you have CI radiators it might

Since you do not use the boiler for DHW, I agree I would leave low temperature limit is set to off.
