Inhibitor compatibility

Hi folks.
I had a thought the other day about inhibitor brand compatibility. In other words if you have a system and it has several yr old Fernox F1 in it can you just add another shot of say Rhomar, Sentinel or FW Webb Purepro inhibitor to boost it up?
Furthermore, how about if you use Fernox cleaner and then add a different brand of inhibitor?
Do they have similar ingredients? I realize many of them are proprietary and they would not want to divulge the exact secret sauce…

The products MSDS will list the ingredients. Maybe not concentrations.
Don't know about boiler additives, but if they are like automotive antifreeze, don't mix them.
