I have a HTP eftc 140w that I picked second hand. It did not come with the 6 inches of cpvc that is supplied from factory on the vent, where is a good a good place to source that.

    USplastics.com will sell short pieces, may even send a 6’ sample. They have sent me 12” pieces of various plastic pipe

    you can find 10’ sticks of the IPEX listed CPVC for not much more$$

    Or contact HTP for the starter piece.

    Early on they sent a piece of ABS as the starter piece, probably a piece of solid core.

    The other option is Centrotherm or one of the other listed PP systems. Then the whole vent system is an approved, listed system

    Maybe that unit vents with 2” for short distances. That brings the cost down.
