Multiple boiler piping

Few questions in regards to multiple boiler piping..

1st is about system circulator.. I included a quick drawing with 2 options for circulator location. Can anyone suggest the proper (or better) location for the system circulator ??

And this job is gonna have 3 boilers installed, obviously each with it's own circulator…

So question 2, is there a preference as to which side of the boiler each boiler circulator should be ? On supply or return of boiler?

And 3rd, does each individual boiler need a check valve in the piping ? Again, is it preferred on supply or return of boiler?

    What type of boiler?

    What type of distribution?

    With conventional CI boilers, pumps could be on either Sor R

    With high pressure drop mod cons, pump into the turn.

    A hydraulic separator make for a nice installation, giving you air, dirt, mag, and hydraulic separation.

    If it is a high mass distribution, CI boiled may need return protection.

    Option 2 I like better regardless of the boiler as far as the system circ goes.

    As far as the boiler(s) circulators I would put them on the return if it is a mod con with a high pressure drop. CI boilers it probably doesn't matter.
