Weil McLain boiler shortages again?

HI,

I just got quotes for a Weil McLain 1080 and 1180 from Sid Harvey… 10 to 12 weeks out. Are any of you guys seeing this problem again? We are getting a 580 within 7 days or so for next week, but these bigger ones are 10 to 12 weeks.

I guess this year's bigger boiler proposals are going to be Burnham v-9 proposals instead.

    the 211A's seem to be available again, but are really inefficient for steam( atmospheric design). The big TC sections are really heavy, the V-9 seems to be a nice in between with old fashioned push nipple seals.

    In the middle of installing two Weil McLain 688 boilers. No issues with stock on the 88 series, got quotes from three suppliers. All of them had boilers in stock.
