Looking for a book on residential vapor systems
Just is the title States, looking for something that has some knowledge on vapor systems for residential homes. One pipe and two pipe.
From what I've been learning rather quickly.. most homes depending on the side of town they are tend to be vapor homes. I mainly used to one pipe it two pipe with traps

i don't know if most residential 2 pipe systems are vapor or if people with them just end up here, but we see far more posts about vapor residential systems than conventional trapped 2 pipe systems.
have you read
it covers many other steam system types too but it is probably the modern book with the most coverage of vapor systems. if you really understand how steam behaves vapor systems are not much on top of that. there can be mixing and matching too. it is common to set up certain problem types of emitters as 2 pipe within 1 pipe systems such as baseboard fin tube or fancoils.
it is all just thinking about what happens to the steam, the air, and the condensate.

the companion is excerpts of the source documents used for the diagrams of the various steam system in TLAOSH

I agree about the LAOSH as mentioned above.
The other place to look is in used bookstores that you can search online. Look for American Society of Heating, Air conditioning and Refrigeration.
If you want to find one with vapor systems, you going to have to dig deep.
Steam has been pretty much dead for residential since 1950.
Vapor's heyday was the 1920s
So you will be looking for old books.

Lots more than that. Where, for example, would you find the Imico system in the original?
