Hayes Mansion Original 1908 Cast Iron Radiators

Hello, i have some original architecture pieces from the California historic registry Hayes mansion in San Jose.

They radiators are from the original heating system for the mansion built approximately 1908.

Let me know if there is any interest in these pieces, i can provide pictures as well. My dad pulled these himself when he was working on a restoration on the building.

I know it was rare, but I am still amazed when I see cast iron rads out west in California, especially central CA. Please add pictures, including the boiler if its still installed. It's always interesting to see old houses and their mechanicals.

i think some parts of ca are colder than you'd think so central heating systems are common. they don't have anywhere near the heating season that michigan has though so 100 year old systems with the original boiler or furnace are much more common than they are here.

@mattmia2 Oh yes I'm aware they have central heating, but boilers and cast iron rads are not very common out there. I have family out in Northern CA where they do get winter temps and even still, forced air furnaces are the default. One of the biggest issues is there are not many skilled professionals versed in residential boilers like back East.
