Help Identifying Bathroom Faucet
Greetings,
Any of the plumbers here know who the manufacturer/model of this bathroom faucet might be?
I’d like to find a parts diagram for it.
Thanks.

Not a Plumber just a dumb gas fitter.
This is one topic I hate. I just removed a faucet for my nephew because the quick connect hoses were leaking.
No name on the faucet.
I went online and found a Delta hose kit that looked right but the price was half the cost of a new faucet and I didn't know if it was the right part.
Next I went to the local "Faucet Guru" who has been in business for over 60 years. As soon as I walked in the door he said 'what is that? In 60 years I have never seen one of those".
Off to a plumbing supply he recommended. Out comes their faucet guru an old timer. He said "Its not Delta". Another plumber at the counter said "That looks like Delta to me for sure"
So with no name diagnosis and conflicting information and the Plumbing Supply being a Delta distributor I threw it in the trash and bought something new.
Sorry for the rant. I hope you have better luck

sound like it was the home depot special.
the cartridge will tell you who made it or who they knocked off.
in the small engine world there is a whole universe of chinese clones of honda engines, many of which use interchangeable parts, some of which have some proprietary parts to that particular manufacturer that may not have distribution in the us.
is the faucet in question washerless or compression? it kind of looks like it is compression.
pulling the cartridge may help you match it up.
pulling the handle and looking at the pattern of the broach is likely to pinpoint the manufacturer
virtually all major manufacturers will put their name on the spout somewhere unless it wore off.

This is a company I worked with. Rarely would they not be able to identify any faucet if you had the stem or a picture. Many "designer" brands used the internals from well know brands like Price Pfister, etc.
There are little repair parts shops like this in many areas.
What we need is an app like they have for identifing plants, birds, etc. Snap a pic, get an answer.

I can't be absolutely sure but that looks a lot like Fred. Fred Faucet. Third cousin twice removed on his fathers side, from Farrah Fawcett. (hence the different spelling of the last name)

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

Maybe Phylrich.
The cartridge will tell you.

Years ago, faucets were easily identified because the manufacturer would put their name on it somewhere, so it could be identified. This is no longer the case. However, the stem or cartridge inside the faucet might have a name. So, take it apart. Hopefully, it will show a name or a number there.

I took apart a poorly functioning Delta kitchen faucet. Took out the cartridges and they were ALL PLASTIC i.e. NO ceramic discs. I switched the faucet out for a Moen.

@Intplm. I’ve hardly ever seen a cartridge or stem have a manufacturer’s name on it, but a supplier that deals with faucet parts will be able to tell you who the manufacturer is with a picture of the cartridge. I use Crest Good here in California.
@psb75 Even though their internals were plastic, Delta faucets worked incredibly well. Work like new when rebuilt. Moen, Price Pfister, Delta……..They were faucets made for the common people and they served their purpose well.

they used seats and springs for the better part of a century. in the 2 handles the seat rode on a stainless plate, in the single handle it could be a stainless, brass, or plastic ball depending on the model. the balls are interchangeable so you can put in the stainess ball if you have the plastic one and don't like it.

@Alan (California Radiant) Forbes I took one apart yesterday. It said "Nicolazzi" on the stem cartridges. They are out of business and were bought out by "Rohl?" If I'm not mistaken.
T&S Brass has their model numbers on their parts and, in many cases, its brand name too.
All too often, faucet companies do not have their names on their stuff. I do not know why. In the past, this was not the case.
There's a place in Chicago that can I.D. faucet parts and often will have the parts if they are given enough information. I don't remember their name.

@Karl Reynolds Thanks for the help. I think you are correct.
Thanks to all for the many suggestions.

The handles and letters look like something I recently purchased from Kingston Brass in California. I purchased chrome but they have many finishes.
