Reverse return

I’m working on a reverse return hydronic piping system and added a sketch for clarity. After the last radiator, should both the supply and return mains be capped, or just one of them?

Don't really need a cap —those lines can just stop at the radiator!

Except… your diagram isn't a reverse return at all. It's a simple parallel. To make it a reverse return, the return line should start at radiator 1, then pick up the others in order, and THEN come back to the close spaced Ts with no connections.

the "dead end" method would require more piping.
