Repipe Take 2

Finally got second repipe completed today:

No more hammer, system heats faster and evenly and a proper Hartford loop and mud leg drain.

Should I insulate the near boiler pipes again?

    if you find the area near the boiler to be too warm.

    That sure is a tight working area, dang! I hope you don’t get a leak in your Hartford loop

    Wow almost did not recognize it. Looks a lot better.

    As far as insulating, if you want the heat lost by the near boiler piping to mostly go into the normally heated space rather the the area around the boiler. All depends what you want.

    That looks so much better its ridiculous. They guy even taped every joint, for someone not used to doing steam work, he did a real nice job.
