Oil heater air fan and furnace cycle
After cleaning all the parts in the burner heater and air fan start cycling with long gaps. The normal operation, I used to have was:
- burner starts
- after about 30 seconds fan starts blowing hot air around the house
- work together till temperature reached thermostat shuts off the burner but fan is still going until furnace is cool
Now after fan starts and both working together for about 20 seconds the burner shuts off and starts again after a while.
It makes the burners start and stop, I think too often?

what’s the temperature rise between the supply and return?

What did chat gpt tell you to do?
Why did you clean "all the parts in the burner heater"?-1 -
The heat exchanger is too hot and shutting off the burner while the blower tries to cool it down. Is there an air filter? Clean? Its odd that what you did should've increased airflow, when in fact it decreased. Did you touch the burner at all? I'm assuming you removed the blower assembly to clean. When you put it back, are all the motors speeds back where they were?
