Children's Book Series Promoting the Skilled Trades Launches

Ryan Kiscaden, an HVACR and plumbing marketer, announces that his first book in the NEXT UP TRADES Series is available for order. “NEXT UP TRADES represent an illustrated children’s book series which teaches children that the skilled trades are noble, necessary, and appreciated when completed.” Kiscaden continued, “My personal mission statement drove me to create the NEXT UP TRADES series.

    I think this is great. My kids are too old for these now but, it's a great idea. I hope they keep coming.

    Great idea. This reminds me of one of my favorite books from childhood, Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel.

    These books would resonate with kids. But, I cant help but think that kids want to be like their parents and that parents would like their kids to be better off then they are. I have noticed one thing though. Professional, well to do, parents sometimes raise kids who are never do wells and when the see their kids not succeeding, they ask me if I could help them get a job in maintenance or in the trades. I never walk away feeling flattered.

    Nothing like hard, manual labor to keep youngsters tempered down and out of trouble. The general public is finally starting to see the folly that ALL kids needa go ta College. I recently sponsored a young man from a well to do family who played College Ball on Scholarship, finished two years with decent grades, but was very unhappy.

    I connected with a good Plumbing shop and he is on track again...and his bosses love him. Mad Dog
