Actually retired 3 years ago and moved to washington to be with family. Makes the heart hurt leaving, but family is here, and I have Reynauds and fingers and toes stay too cold, too long. It is nice to still be working outside without a ton of clothes on.

I try to get on here every once in a while, but it seems a lot of issues people are having are steam, or just plain out of my experience level, so not doing many replies.

    Hope everyone is doing good.

P.S. didn't stop working as I have tons to do, but just not doing any plumbing or heating any more.

Well, had to buy a mobile home because i didn't want to build another house, after spending a year remodeling a 1930 house here in town, and just got moved in. They brought it down a dirt road they weren't supposed to, so all the ceiling joints were cracked, so we had to re-do all them. Then, after looking at all the bad details in it, and the amount of time I spent fixing and changing things ( wifes idea), I wish we would have built from scratch. At least we would have something that fits our needs better, and we wouldn't be stuck with the cheap materials and workmanship, or forced air! I know! We need a big group hug for that.

Not including all that, we have 20 acres up in the woods that has a lot of ponderosa pines on it that have to be thinned out for fire, beetles, and proper thinning. I figure 3500 trees I have to cut. Anything less than 8" has to go. So, I'm going to be burning a lot of trees, and chipping the rest. So, if you want to come do some logging😁

Anyhow, normal property owner repair work that also keeps me from sitting around and getting older.

Wow! Sounds like the driver bringing your home in was in a bit of a hurry. 😈 I sorta like tree work. This is a few months ago. I'm about 70 feet up.
