Honeywell humidifier 400a

Options

Just purchased a Honeywell humidifier 400a and looking for some help wiring it. I attached a picture of information in instructions manual along with everything I have. Any help is appreciated

    what are you connecting it to? there are several ways to wire it depending on what you are connecting it to and how you want it to operate. in most cases you don't need the included transformer

    @vanderstreek Best bet would be to watch a U tube video on this humidifier then come back here if you get stuck and someone can help you out.

    Looks like a bypass humidifier. It'll mount on a hole you cut in the side of the return duct (the suck side of the furnace) & the round part connects to the supply side of the furnace (the blow side) through pipe & fittings you supply. It must be mounted the way it's shown, it can't go on it's side or underneath the duct.

    It'll need water from somewhere, and a drain (that can be sent into a condensate pump if you have one).

    As for wiring it, there's a lot of information that's needed before that can be solved. The transformer will need to be fed with 120V line voltage (dangerous!), and the humidistat will need to be fed with 24V low voltage from the transformer (R & C, like to like). After that, we're stalled.
