    If you here water in the pipe then for some reason the water is not draining. Steam and return lines have to be pitched to drain.

    Lets see some pictures of the return line from the radiator to the boiler.

    your near boiler piping looks close enough, there might be an issue with the pitch of the header toward the equalizer but i don't think that would cause the problem you are having.

    is the level steady while it is steaming? I think we asked before but didn't think that was the direction we were looking in.

    is there an additive in the boiler water that could be making it prime? Seems like you could turn the ell on the return at the equalizer end a little and drop the header down a little as long as that keeps the main pitched the right way. also possible the thread on the tee or the nipple is a little out of square.

    I’m positive it’s not the Returns. All are all pitched fine. The issue is still present if I remove shut off valve from radiator and open it up , or even remove valve completely . No change. Also cap off the trap at radiator. No change.

    no additive at the moment. I skimmed it and drained it twice since header pipe work .

    No banging at all during cycle.
    the water level moves but I wouldn’t say it’s erratic .
    Wish I could post videos here. Maybe I’ll add some to a YouTube page and add the link .

    Header could probably have a little more pitch to it but again I’m not getting any banging or loud noise anywhere.
