Navien universal temperature sensors

does anybody use the navien universal temperature sensors you can buy and zip tie on to the supply and return? What’s everyone’s experience with them? Are the accurate?

    Don't know about Navien but sensors are frequently strapped to pipes. You may want to use a hose clamp instead of a zip ty depending on the temperature and insulate it.

    pretty much any metal sensor could strap onto a pipe, it needs to be a tight connection, no air space

    Thermistor type sensors have the thermistor at the very tip Thermistors are generally pretty accurate

    Insulate around the sensor and clamp
