November 14 in THE MAIN WALL

This is the oldest commercial building in our Village. It was Built in 1894. Held up with old poplar posts, but in very good shape. This Cast Iron held out for 130 years, but finally blew out this week.

  They don't make 'em like that anymore.

  What caused it to fail like that? Looks like it split/cracked everywhere at once?

  It was forming a split and heaving for the last few yrs...but not leaking a drop until this week. 😢 Mad Dog
