As far as I know any good tubing cutter will work. I use the old Ridgid #20. Imperial makes good cutters as well.

You may need two cutters to cover that range.

It is worth buying the CSST cutters, they have nylon grooved wheels to get you a clean cut every time. I believe the cutting wheel is specific to stainless also.

Gas Tite make one from 1/2-1" and one from?? to 2" Supply House .com.

Track pipe says to buy a Ridgid 152 and buy the special cutter wheel from trac Pipe

If you can't get a straight answer pick up the phone and call Ridgid.

You used to be able to pick up the coversion kits when you took a CSST certification class. I think Rigid offered then. Two grooved rollers and a special cutting wheel.

just to let every know i cut it with a band saw and a fine metal blade works great actully says to use a reciprocating saw in the tracpipe manual. to bad trac pipe customer service dosent know there own recommendations. doesnt surprise me in this trade the contractor always pays for the manufactures incompetence .

Yeah. Many like CSST but I am not one of them.

To me it is just too flimsy although widely used and approved everywhere, I guess.
