trac pipe cutter

im trying to buy a cutter for 1/2 to 2" trac pipe any recommendations

    As far as I know any good tubing cutter will work. I use the old Ridgid #20. Imperial makes good cutters as well.

    they make a special blade for the stainless i was just hoping to buy one that fits my needs

    You may need two cutters to cover that range.

    It is worth buying the CSST cutters, they have nylon grooved wheels to get you a clean cut every time. I believe the cutting wheel is specific to stainless also.

    Gas Tite make one from 1/2-1" and one from?? to 2" Supply House .com.

    Track pipe says to buy a Ridgid 152 and buy the special cutter wheel from trac Pipe

    If you can't get a straight answer pick up the phone and call Ridgid.

    You used to be able to pick up the coversion kits when you took a CSST certification class. I think Rigid offered then. Two grooved rollers and a special cutting wheel.
