Nest thermostat
Nest thermostat was working. Unplugged to charge and service boiler. Now have code E195. Wires all connected and 27v at boiler

Howeowner and ex-nest user. What generation of nest thermostat do you have? As of 10/25 Google EOL’d gen 1 and 2 thermostats. They no longer connect to nest, there wireless connection no longer works and they can’t be configured remotely. It may also affect other operations

2 wire red and white. Saying no signal at R1

For a Nest to operate properly and charge the internal batter you need a wire connected from the C terminal on the Nest to the common on your 24 volt transformer. See if your thermostat cable contains an extra wire, it may or may not and some pictures on the boiler end.

You can fry the MOSFETS in the sub base if you unplug the stat from the sub base with the power on.
but E195 is "no power at R terminal"
