Is the Nest hooked up two wire or three wire? Do you have a common "C" wire hooked to the Nest?

Howeowner and ex-nest user. What generation of nest thermostat do you have? As of 10/25 Google EOL’d gen 1 and 2 thermostats. They no longer connect to nest, there wireless connection no longer works and they can’t be configured remotely. It may also affect other operations

For a Nest to operate properly and charge the internal batter you need a wire connected from the C terminal on the Nest to the common on your 24 volt transformer. See if your thermostat cable contains an extra wire, it may or may not and some pictures on the boiler end.
