Any issues with long pigtail for pressuretrol

as the title asks, please check my phone. I bought an extra long brass (I think), pigtail for my pressuretroll.

any issues? I was also thinking of perhaps putting a second pressuretrol for extra safety. Is that possible for my system? I want to make sure everything is safe.

Yes, you want to pipe it out for future service . The second pressuretrol should be a manual reset ,Its a safety . Adding a union on the horizontal piping is a nice idea for cleaning and testing…

There was an error rendering this rich post.

hi Ed, so unsure what youre saying yes to. Is there any issues with a long pigtail that comes away from the boiler before going to the pressuretrol?

@melo, there is no issue with the pigtail in your picture.

It can be longer (adding more pipe too) either side (or both) to make future service of the pigtail or the Pressurertol easier.

Is that a probe for a lwco about 3" above the normal water line?

Interesting observation, camera angle probably not helping.

I don't understand the question. The LWCO probe is in the middle of the sight glass basically. So I'm assuming it triggers when the water drains out from permissiable levels. I had turned the boiler on and started emptying it and it stopped the boiler to refill it by the time the water emptried out to the bottom of the sight glasss so I believe it's working fine. I also had replaced it a few years ago. None of the boiler techs previously had said anything.

Hard to read in the picture 'Lowest Permissible Water Level' label. I believe @mattmia2 thought that it was a 'Normal Water Line' label. So it appeared the probe position in relation to the label seemed odd. And the camera angle of the picture did not help any. It's all good.
