    I think you will find you really don't need more venting, just a system that is piped correctly with the correct components for it to work as best as possible.

    Ok I dropped my drips and am anxious to see how it goes. I can say that I’m not getting heat going up into the vents like I was so that’s a plus. I also wanted to say buying this crimper was well worth the money it’s come in handy several times.

    Looks better, it will be interesting to see how it works without radiator traps.

    would adding radiator traps be worth the investment?

    Well a 2 pipe system usually has them in some form or another. Or the steam is limited at each radiator by orifices. Either way it keeps the steam out of the return and prematurely closing the vents stopping the air purging.

    In your case I would see how the system works. Maybe you can mostly balance the steam flow with the radiator valves.

    I want to get new valves I have different ones on different radiators. I think the ones I want/need are $70. Apiece
