What do these numbers mean? It can't be the date of manufacture, can it?

Oil boiler being cut up and removed. Is the 02 17 27 stamp the date of manufacture, or is it just a code? What does it mean?

Maybe it is just the date the mold was made. Knowing when the boiler was installed may help a bit. The other number 7013 could be a date code too 13 week of 1970 but that may be too old to make sense. Looking at it, it looks newer rather than older.

There should be a sticker on the jacket with a CP number. If you get that number, then we can find date of manufacture. The Grey/Blue jacket has been around about 5 years.
