    From Google Translate:

I want to buy a thermal camera. Do they have any recommendations?

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

I have one of these: https://www.tequipment.net/HikMicro/B20/Building-and-Industrial-Thermal-Imagers/?v=7463, works fine. I got an Amazon hard case for it with the pull-out foam; no complaints.

I have one of the li'l plug-in-to-your-phone models, it works fine but I have to take my phone out of it's case to use it.

I use one of these: https://www.hikmicrotech.com/en_us/industrial-products/pocket-thermal-camera/ Was a bit cheaper than a FLIR, but it's a good stand alone unit.

Has both Thermal and visual cameras so it can blend the two together to give you a combined photo with gives good thermal but also good definition

Here's some photos from it for reference.

Quite toasty indeed. 50hp cooling tower pump is actually pulling perfectly acceptable amps (208v, 88a) but the wire and contactor is heavily corroded hence the high temps. Even better, you'll notice the date on that thermal photo is back in December and this customer is still running this pump 24/7. The cherry on top is that their second cooling tower pump has been completely down and that contactor is also burned up, so when this contactor finally burns up completely, they're going to have a fun emergency call

Unreal. I can understand limping along, but expecting failure, with no backup… I just… <smh>
