Which New Analyzer?

Hello All,

I am looking to replace an aging E-intruments Btu900- any suggestions? The unit has a replaceable O2 sensor which has been nice. Typically used for residential/light commercial mod-cons. It seems most brands have ups and downs. The calibration costs and downtimes seem unavoidable- so the best would be a model with longer service intervals. Not wanting to spend a fortune unless that up front price cuts down on calibrations. Thanks in advance!

I had a Bacharach Fyrite Pro for years; needed new, expensive sensors every year. In 2022, I switched to a Testo 300 and it's been excellent. It doesn't need sensors replaced and I haven't had it calibrated since I purchased it.

I bought it on Amazon; "Used, Like New" and saved $700. I also got the printer.

I'm underimpressed with my UEi. I have the old style, the cost to cal is on par with the purchase price of one of their current low-end models. Really disappointed.

I have a 320. Like it a bunch… I get it calibrated bi yearly. ($300)

Send it to Testo from my supply house.

You may be able to get a used one as the 310 is discontinued.

Thanks everyone- I have been looking at Testo quite a bit. seems there is no way around the calibration fees, except the Bacharach insight and the fieldpiece cat45 have replaceable pre-calibrated CO sensors which means hopefully not shipping the unit away. I will do some more investigating!
