Louvered damper with lockout
Hi, I am looking for assistance regarding the integration of a fresh air electronic louver damper with lockout into my existing setup. I have two Weil-McLain natural draft boilers that are electronically operated by a Tekmar mixing control 354 and a two-stage boiler with domestic hot water control 252. The specific issue I am facing involves the Honeywell motor that operates the louvers, which has only two wires and requires 24 volts to open and close it, along with a dial to set the open and closed positions. Any guidance on this integration would be greatly appreciated.

if the honeywell damper actuator does not have a damper open proving switch (sounds like it dosent) you can get a switch that mounts on the damper. Try Kele Associates they are in TN you can google them
On a call for heat you want the damper to open when the proving switch makesyou want the boilers to fire. You also will probably need a relay to do this

Hey! I just wanted to say a big thank you! I was doing some mental gymnastics trying to figure out how I would make this work, and your information was super insightful. Thanks a ton!
