A/C Condensers
greetings,
I am wondering if there are any companies out there that still make copper and aluminum fin residential condensers. I need to replace my leaking 4ton Lennox/York micro channel condensers.

Last I knew Goodman was still using copper tube condensers on their stuff. The last unit I did was a 2023 2 stage 18 seer and that had a normal condenser.
At least I think it was 2023, could've been 22 but I don't think so.

can you fit a standard coil in place of a micro channel. I don’t think so.

That's the reason automotive went micro channel years and years ago isn't it?
But I'm curious why you're asking that? I don't think the op had said anything about where the condenser had to fit?

microchannel (not sure it was called that 60 years ago) is much easier to manufacture if you're making millions of them.

Micro channels are impossible to repair not that a standard condenser is easy because it isn't.
I don't know if the op is changing the whole unit or the condenser coil
