Is there any issue with connecting the incoming metal pipe to cast aluminum threads? Does it require special fittings to prevent galvanic corrosion? There's a galvanized steel fitting that attaches to the cast aluminum threads.

Since it is for fuel oil it must be approved for that purpose. I would install it in accordance with the MFG instructions.

I'm getting bids for a tank replacement, and just didn't know if that would be an OK design to consider.
