Boiler for infloor heating

got a quote for a boiler for a two large zones of infloor heating.
One option is a Laars FT 301
And the other is a navien NFB301c
What is the better boiler option?

100% agree with Bob above. Even the best boiler can perform poorly with an improper install and/or setup, but the Laars is a better boiler in my opinion as well. With that said, I'd sooner have a well installed Navien than a poorly installed Laars and the same can be said for support. If one or the other contractor is not local to you or doesn't perform service, the other may be a better option regardless of brand. Side note: how large is this space that requires such a large boiler?

what are things to look out for?

The contractor is the most important thing and you can do better than a Navien.
Ask them for references of the work they have done.
Are they getting permits if required?
Will they install everything in accordance with the MFG requirements?
How many service technicians do they have that are familiar with the equipment?

one is 6500 sqft and the other is 1000

7500 sqft of floor heat can do about 150kBTU at a reasonable floor temp. 400kBTU boiler is a bit overkill…

any other loads? Seems like twice the boiler than what you need
