NAVIEN NHB 150 heat only

I installed this 3 years ago this month 2022 the boiler pump very hot not sure why. Its a Taco 0010. The supply and return temps are not right seems water not leaving the boiler properly.

Navien said I need a 0013. It delivers heat then stops delivering in volume. I took the pump of and it is circulating cleaned the filters nothing clogged. Navien tech said its the pump. But after 3 years it died? Taco 0013 500.00!

Any thoughts?

If the manual spec’s a 0013, then that’s what you need. Cost doesn’t override physics.

It clearly states right in the install manual that an 0013 or equivalent is required, and you installed something roughly half that size. They can and do go bad, yes, but I'd be willing to bet there was an underlying cause such as a plugged exchanger or low water pressure that created the failure (if it is even faulty). Show us a picture of the installation and piping.

I installed the 0013 today running good. Navien clear the diagnosis. I changed the water pressure sensor as well.

Seems was not reading proper. Thanks for the input
