    If air is the issue on 2 oil lines (providing bypass plug is installed), increase pre purge, or "valve on delay' to 30 or more seconds to pass all the air for at least a temp. fix. If that doesn't do it something else is wrong.

    Too many threads on this subject.

    The oil line needs to be tight….no exceptions. Apparently, many cannot cut and flare tubing.

    This is a skill that is not that difficult to learn.

    But we are in the age of ProPress, SharkBite Mega Press and Zoom Lock and Pex and plastic everything.

    Is it any wonder that the skills needed to cut, flare, weld, braze, solder or thread are are on the decline

    Techs now are taught to use the newest technology, not necessarily the best technology.

    How do you learn how to flare tubing when your on your phone Goggling 24/7

    Besides , everything must be done fast now, flaring takes too long.

    Bottom line is this:

    If the oil can't get from the tank to the burner the burner will not run.

    I wonder if the first reset charges the fuel line with oil but by the time the oil reached the pump, the 15 second trial for ignition has timed out. 

    What if it is 45 seconds? A whole lot of air in the line and even with an 8184 it cannot clear it before a shutdown.

    And if you try to learn by watching YouTube, even some pros don't start by showing the reaming. They start with the flare tool.

    There's an old saying that applies to many trades. Proper preparation prevents poor performance...

    Do we even know what boiler? What burner? What fuel pump? Never mind what pressure. My money is on it was never set up. I wonder what the draft reading is. I wonder what the smoke reading is. I wonder if it needs a vac already. I wonder if Mr. @Jadams4978 installed a Tiger Loop. And if so, was it the Ultra?

    I think that someone should verify that the bypass plug was installed in the fuel pump. If bleeding starts the burner, then it is most likely an air issue that should be masked by the 2-line system but only if the bypass plug is installed.
