Have you had refrigerant line-sets develop pin-hole leaks?

There seem to be a lot of line-sets (especially with white insulation) that have developed pinhole leaks within 1-3 years of installation. One theory is that the leaks are the result of corrosion due to moisture and air getting in between the insulation and the copper tubing. Line-set manufacturers all include in their instructions that the ends of the insulation need to be sealed to prevent water from getting under the insulation. When I am in the field and see line-sets with white insulation, I see a lot that are not sealed. If you have installed line-sets with white insulation, please choose one of the four options below so we can see if there is any real correlation between sealing the insulation and corrosion of line-sets.
