A friend got qty 4 of these 24DC / 10 amp battery chargers / engine starter from an electrical contractor closing out a warehouse.
Any idea of the target application?

Anyone interested, available in Northern Virginia area.

We have 2 firetrucks that are surplus from government.

They use 24 VDC, two 12 volt batteries in series.

I got 2 24 volt golf cart chargers, maybe 30 amps, put them in a cabinet like you show. Added gauges and time clock to prevent overcharging as these trucks may sit for weeks.

They have worked for years as a trickle charger…..not engine starting with only 30 amps.

I’d send a couple of them to you but the freight bill would be unpleasant!

Thanks, but no thanks…….they have a "real" copper/iron transformer inside.

About like picking up a big car battery.

That looks like the charger you would use for powered pallet trucks or small forklifts. Mount it on the wall and run a cable with Anderson connectors to connect.
